The Doctrine Of Once Saved Always Saved
Some years ago I was listening to Dr. Charles Stanley, a white Baptist pastor. He stated if people were truly saved they would not practice sin. As I said earlier in my article the Southern Baptists supported slavery, rape and murders and killing. When slaves were too old to work they were killed, there was no retirement. There is on record that there was a man that was buying a slave girl and he wanted her to go to work right away but she had a nursing baby; so the man selling the slave girl took the baby out of sight and killed the baby and then sold the woman. They would go to a hanging and watch a black person be hung; the Baptist doing the hanging believed in once saved always saved and that even though they were killing this person it would not affect their salvation and eternal security.
Some years ago president Jimmy Carter was known for teaching Sunday school class at his Baptist church. I do not know if he was a Southern Baptist or American Baptist. They were racist. Out of curiosity a black brother in the Lord wanted to go to the church and hear the president teach his Sunday bible study. The members of the church put him out; their comment was he came to cause problems. He just came to hear what a president would be teaching. I would have been curious myself.
1 John 3:13-16 (KJV) 13 Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.
vs.14) We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. 15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him. 16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
The word lets us know that being once saved always saved is not true. You cannot hate your brother and still be walking in the spirit of the Lord.
1 John 3:18-24 (KJV) 18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. 19 And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him. 20 For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. 21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. 22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. 23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. 24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.
Like Dr. Stanley said is you were truly saved you wouldn’t do such things. Southern Baptists are known for their hatred towards blacks. We should consider what saved means. The overwhelming number of born again believers did not understand the meaning of the word saved. The word saved means to be made whole.
Saved is the Greek word sozo. It means delivered, protected, literally or figuratively, to heal, preserve, save self, be made whole.
The present born again church world did not understand and make a covenant to be made whole. They go forward being born again thinking they are saved in the sense that they are now ready to die but do not understand that they should be made whole. Paul said to use wholesome words or sound words; otherwise use definitions.
When I came to the Lord I was a teenager around sixteen or seventeen. As I went forward to get baptized and later to receive the Holy Ghost I didn’t really have a lot of physical problems. I was healed as a young child when my father prayed for me. Later in life as I went forward to start my denominations process of being saved I did not have a sickness I had a hernia also a knee injury as a result of being tackled. I had no idea because of the way I had been taught or brainwashed I missed my chance to believe to be made whole; that I should expect my hernia or knee to be healed. Years later my knee was healed. We are robbed of healing because of lack of knowledge.
The lack of giving definition robs people of the chance to be made whole. At the time they go forward to get saved; all we really did was get born again preparing to die and go to heaven instead of living a lifetime in being made whole. I quoted Dr. Stanley and you may get him on your radio. If you are truly saved you wouldn’t practice sin. I’m still on the subject of once saved always saved which is not true. We want to look at someone who really truly saved in the sense that they understood salvation.
In Acts there is a record of Ananias and Sapphira.
Acts 5:1-2 (KJV) 1 But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession, 2 And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles' feet.
In the passage before this in Acts it states.
Acts 4:34-35 (KJV) 34 Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold, 35 And laid them down at the apostles' feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.
They didn’t go and sell the house they were living in and things they needed to make a living. When they had rental property or excess that is what they sold. This was an act of the spirit of the Lord. My point in showing this is these were people who had come to the Lord, baptized in the name of Yahsua. Five hundred years after the apostles died the name Yahsua was changed to Jesus. The Jews at that time understood what the name Yahsua meant. It is a combination of the Father Yah and the Son Shua meaning the salvation. None of Abraham’s children, his physical seed would ever be cut off because God made a covenant with Abraham. There will always be a remnant of Abraham’s natural seed (bloodline). As Gentiles we are counted as Abraham’s children by faith. The promise from Yahweh the covenant keeping God was that when they sin He would punish them. They sinned many times. They got involved with false gods; went into slavery and in Judges many saviors were sent and the Lord would straighten them up. He would punish them and they would call on His name and He would rescue them. The one hundred and forty four thousand will be His remnant and twelve apostles will rule over the twelve tribes. Rev.7:4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.
So when the Jews were baptized in the name of Yahshua, meaning rescue, safety, physically or morally, saving health, deliverance and aide they were renewed back into the covenant that no longer applied. It was to be a covenant through the blood of the Lamb of Yahweh, the covenant keeping God, Yahshua. The covenant promises were no longer by works and sacrifices of animals (sheep, goats, heifers, turtledoves, pigeons. When they entered into the New Covenant through Yahshua by accepting Him as the Lamb of God they were renewed back into the benefits of being redeemed from the curse of the law. They understood what redeemed from the curse of the law was in covenant relationship; as long as they walked in covenant they had the blessings of being redeemed from the curse of the law. This included their financial blessings, their crops, and their animals.
Deuteronomy 28:61 (KJV) 1 Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the LORD bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed.
On the day of Pentecost the apostles were endued with power and three thousand people were added to the church; which included Ananias and Sapphira. They were baptized in the name of Yahshua; they were endued with power and speaking in tongues; they were truly saved. Their sins were gone and in covenant relationship with Yahweh again.
At the same time because of the Jews sin and their rejection of the Lamb of God they were under the power of the Romans, the Italians had the power over them. The Jews who had accepted a New Covenant, who understood the Name and Yahshua being their salvation; being He who is salvation (rescue or safety) physically or morally = to deliver, health save (make whole) saving health, preservation of life (soul), in the flesh
There was confirmation of them being in a covenant relationship because healings took place. Blind eyes were opened; cripples walked and they were experiencing the benefits of what saved meant; to be made whole.
In today’s born again church we have missed the point of walking in covenant relationship. We were taught to get ready to die. When we get born again we call that process being saved. In one sense being born again and staying out of sin means you will see the Lord’s face in peace; but, salvation is for every day to save us in the nasty now. Salvation is for every day; rescue, safety, divine health and all those things we were supposed to live by day by day.
Any way you look at it Ananias and Sapphira were truly saved because they had an understanding that church does not have. They were also endued with power by speaking in tongues. The argument that if you were truly saved you wouldn’t sin is a lie because they ended up dying because they lied to the Holy Ghost or the spirit that is holy.
The members of the new church did not sell the property they needed to live on nor the land they used for their own personal crops; the land and personal things they sold were things they could let go.
Acts 5:3-12 (KJV) 3 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? 4 Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God. 5 And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things. 6 And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out, and buried him. 7 And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in.8 And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much. 9 Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord (the Covenant Keeping God)? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out. 10 Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost (the spirit): and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband. 11 And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things. 12 And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch.
Ananias and Sapphira were truly saved, much more than the church today with their understanding of being saved. The idea of being once saved always saved is false and here is an example of two people that would not have dropped dead if that were true.
1 John 5:16 (KJV) If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.
1 Corinthians 10:16 (KJV) The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?
1 Corinthians 11: 20 – 31 When ye come together therefore into one place, this is not to eat the Lord's supper. 21) For in eating every one taketh before other his own supper: and one is hungry, and another is drunken.22) What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you not.23) For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:24) And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.25) After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.26) For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.27) Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.28) But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.29) For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.30) For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. (to sleep means to die unintentionally; they died born again but not made whole. They robbed themselves of the benefits of salvation – Salvation, Sozo, means delivered, protected, literally or figuratively, to heal, preserve, save self, be made whole)31) For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
They let the poor man go without eating and did not keep in mind they were commemorating the covenant which made them one body in Christ.
James 2:14-20 (KJV) What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?15) If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,16) And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?17) Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.18) Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.19) Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.20) But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
James 5: 19-20 (KJV) Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; 20) Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul (person) from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

We read if you hate your brother it is the same as murder. Ananias and Sapphira lied to the Lord and broke covenant and it cost them their lives. They lost the benefit of having saving health. The rescue, safety and salvation are things you get daily. When you are dead you don’t need salvation. Salvation is for every day. The Lord wants to save you in times of trouble. He wants to deliver you. He wants you to have saving health. All of these things are daily benefits. Blessed be the Lord for all His many benefits who loads us with benefits. Being once saved always saved is not true.
Because of the watered down version of salvation from my pastor people were robbed of their benefits. In my case I didn’t die but I was robbed of the chance to be made whole under that doctrine. I had no expectations that we as Gentiles enter into the same covenant of blessing by faith. The word says people are destroyed from lack of knowledge.
Romans 10:9 (KJV) 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
While under my pastors teaching I was robbed of the chance of being healed of my hernia or knee being healed. This is the case throughout the church world today. We have come on a watered down version. This must change. We are fast approaching the cashless society; putting a chip in you talked about in the bible. We must enter into covenant to be made whole for the time when you can’t go to the hospital or buy your food. You won’t be able to pay your taxes or drive without taking the mark of the beast. The church today makes God look bad. There are many believes that are prematurely dead and sick; as many believers as there are in the world.
1 Corinthians 5:9-11 (KJV) 9 I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators: 10 Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world. 11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
1 Corinthians 6:9-10 (KJV) 9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

Keep in mind in earlier teachings on the series of once saved always saved that the apostle Paul said he kept his body under control lest he be a castaway (the Greek word for castaway is the same Greek word for reprobate used in Romans 1:28 which is referring to homosexuals and lesbians)
A person can fall into sin and have true repentance and be forgiven, but if that person feels they can deliberately practice sin without repentance and turning from their practice of sin having the belief that they are under the blanket protection of being born again and thinking that whatever they do is covered beliving that they won’t lose their salvation they are DECEIVED.
Hebrews 12:14 (KJV) Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord
The following is the definition for each sin listed in the above verses:
Fornication: harlotry, (including adultery and incest): figuratively idolatry is fornication.
There were no J’s in the Hebrew what is translated Jew is the Hebrew word Yahudim meaning Yah’s wife (bride). The covenant keeping God, wife (bride).

When Israel bowed down before a graven image, praying worshipping the gods it represented such as the golden calf, Baal, the queen of heaven, Moloch, Dagon and Tammuz. The Asherah or image that Nebuchadnezzar set up they were committing adultery, whoredom.
Satan inspired some translators to take out the 4th verse of the Ten Commandments and divide up the other verse so there would be ten verses to deceive people from the truth. Other translators deceived people by saying “Thou shalt not make any brass images.
Jeremiah 3:6-12 (KJV) 6 The LORD said also unto me in the days of Josiah the king, Hast thou seen that which backsliding Israel hath done? she is gone up upon every high mountain and under every green tree, and there hath played the harlot. 7 And I said after she had done all these things, Turn thou unto me. But she returned not. Sometimes where the name God (is El, the Almighty), transliterated in proper names Beth-el and Immanu-el.

Matthew 1:23 (KJV) 23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanu-el, which being interpreted is, God with us.
Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanu-el.
Isaiah 9:6 (KJV) 6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Over five hundred years after the apostles died, the names in the bible were changed to Greek. Greek was the world’s language, as English is the language today.
Jesus = Yahshua
Yah = the Father John 5:43 come in my Father’s name. Shua = The Son. Holy Ghost = Greek Pneuma “hogion”, the spirit that is Holy.
Yah = the self-existing, always was, is and is to come. John 8:54 before Abraham was, I Am.
Son – Shua He who is a savior; He who is salvation (rescue or safety), physically or morally, to deliver, health, save, make whole, saving health, preservation of life (soul) in the flesh.
Holy Ghost = the spirit that is holy. Pneuma hagion the spirit of the Father is holy. John 10:30 and John 14:10-11. Isaiah 9:6, 7:14, 8:8. Luke 2:4 and Matthew 1:23
Joshua = Yahshua, a savior.
Mocheh = Moses, saved by water.
Elijah = Eli Yah, meaning my God is Yah
Judah = Yahudah, Yah commands.
Yahudim = called Jews, Yah – wife (bride)
Joseph = Yosef
Jacob = Ya’akob = heel catcher (contender).Jacob was changed to Israel.
Israel = Yisrael contend with God
John = Yahuchanon Yah-sheweth favour
Ezekiel = Yehezael
Peter = Kepha called Cephes in Galatians 2:9 a loose moveable stone.
Pure Words
Psalms 12:6, Thy words of the Lord (Yahweh, the Covenant Keeping God) are pure words: as silver is tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
Zephania 3:9 For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD (Yahweh, the Covenant Keeping God), to serve him with one consent.
All of us who have repented of all sin and have come to the Father (YAH) by the blood of His lamb (shua meaning salvation; rescue, safety physically or morally, to deliver health, save, make whole, saving health, preservation of life (soul), in the flesh.
Behold the Lamb of Elohim God (the Creator) which taketh away (taketh upon Himself (to bear) away.
Isaiah 53:7 (KJV) 7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
Revelation 19:7 (KJV) 7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
Ephesians 5:26-27 (KJV) 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
A robe of righteousness should never have any spot of semen (sperm or wrinkle) from committing whoredom or adultery in worshipping, praying before an image, (a sculpture)

Joshua 24:16-20 (KJV) 16 And the people answered and said, God forbid that we should forsake the LORD, to serve other gods; 17 For the LORD our God, he it is that brought us up and our fathers out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and which did those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way wherein we went, and among all the people through whom we passed: 18 And the LORD (Covenant Keeping God) drove out from before us all the people, even the Amorites which dwelt in the land: therefore will we also serve the LORD (Covenant Keeping God); for he is our God (Elohim, our Creator). 19 And Joshua said unto the people, Ye cannot serve the LORD (Covenant Keeping God): for he is an holy God (Creator); he is a jealous God (El, meaning Almighty) ; he will not forgive your transgressions nor your sins. 20 If ye forsake the LORD (Covenant Keeping God), and serve strange gods, then he will turn and do you hurt, and consume you, after that he hath done you good.
