There are three places in the bible talking about the pure words.
There’s limited faith in one sense. We need to broaden our perspective. People argue over whether healing and other things are for today, but its blindness and most of us have been blind to something. The Lord opens our eyes to truth.
James Robison wrote a book I'm Free. He’s talking about how the Lord opened his eyes. In his deliverance he got involved with the charismatics and his eyes were open to some things.
There is no excuse for any denomination when the scripture says contend for the faith once delivered to the saints. There’s no excuse for the Church of Christ to say the days of miracles are over, or the Baptists, or anybody else that says that’s not for today. Our church background can blind us to truth because we’ve heard it corrupted so much we can’t see daylight.
Reading Hebrews 11 tells you what you’re supposed to fight for. People talk about “the power of the resurrection of Christ,” but if you talk about raising someone from the dead they think you’re nuts. So you really don’t know Him in resurrection power until you believe someone can be resurrected.
Romans 10:14 (KJV) How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?
If they don’t have preachers that are going to tell them the truth then they’re going to be misled.
Romans 10:15 (KJV) And how shall they preach, except they be sent? As it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
You have a lot of people who are preaching and they aren’t sent of the Lord. Some do it because their mom wanted them to or they think they will make good money.
Romans 10:16 (KJV) But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias (Isaiah) saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
That’s in Isaiah 53- who’s going to believe our report; who’s going to put faith in it?
Romans 10:17 (KJV) So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Elohim the Creator).
People have to hear it. They need to understand what He wants us to have. We must hear it so it will cause us to reach for what we don’t have; or add to what we do have.
Matthews 13:54 (KJV) And when he was come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works? Vs.55 Is this not the carpenter’s son? Is not his mother Mary: and his brethren, James, and Joses and Simon and Judus? Vs.56 And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things? Vs.57 And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house.
Otherwise, he’s just our brother we know him.
Matthew 13:58 (KJV) And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.
It wasn’t just the family, but the people around didn’t believe. It’s true in any situation. I’ve met a lot of people who are very bitter about healing. People will mention how godly their mother was and yet she died.
The word lets you know if you waver or doubt you’re not going to receive anything. It doesn’t have anything to do with God’s ability. We went through all the “I wills” in the Bible where every time the Lord says, I will, He will. So the problem isn’t on His side. The problem is on our side; unbelief.
Habakkuk 2:1-4 (KJV) I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. Vs.2 And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. Vs.3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie; though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Vs.4 Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.
The theme of my literature is "Write the Vision and Make It Plain so he that readeth may run." The just shall live by faith. The Lord gave me those verses years ago. Though it tarry it's sure going to happen, wait for it.
In your Bible where it says testament it means covenant. There’s old covenant and new covenant. I’m trying to tell other pastors they have not led their people into the new covenant. They got born again, repented of their sins, and asked the Lord to come into their heart, but they didn’t understand covenant or preach it. So now the Church has to get out of Babylon, that includes the holidays, and enter into covenant and be ready for what’s happening.
Galatians 3:11 (KJV) But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.
I keep thinking about the future when you can’t buy or sell without the mark because that’s for today too. When you’re between a rock and a hard place you’re going to live by faith. You should live day by day. In preparation for what's coming you’re sure going to have to live that way. We have things we can fall back on right now but back then all you could fall back on was the Lord.
Hebrews 10:38 (KJV) Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
Romans 1:17 (KJV) For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
All the times the Bible mentions “the just shall live by faith” we should believe it; the just should live by faith.
Romans 3:22 (KJV) Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference. Vs.23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. Vs.24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. Vs.25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
Propitiation took the heat, meaning like ceramic shields on satellites take the heat so it wouldn’t burn up the people inside it. The Lord became our propitiation. The Lord’s grace took the heat, the judgement, and like in Isaiah 53 the chastisement of our peace is upon Him. He was beaten to a bloody pulp so we could believe in what He did so then we don’t deserve what we deserve as sinners. By His stripes we’re healed. We should have a sense of peace because we repented, cast all our sins on what He did and we’re free! We should have been redeemed from the curse of the law. Unfortunately, too many believers because they weren’t taught to be made whole, are in all kinds of messes. They’re undelivered.
In the 80’s I went to see James Robison and warned him. I’m praying how much to send to him now. I’ve warned him twice. A few days ago I read his book for the first time. He got his deliverance and it’s interesting, but he brought thousands to a watered-down gospel. Most of them needed deliverance from their hatred towards blacks. Billy Graham didn’t apologize for slavery until the late 90’s. A lot of churches changed, not because of the word of God as they should have in the beginning, but because they said that all nations were to become one people. The scripture says hate is equated with murder. You have people born again but not set free because they never saw it as part of their salvation.
Faith comes by hearing, the Lord wants you to be made whole. The word soul is misused. You are a soul, it’s not that you have a soul. Right now you are a living soul. When you kick the bucket you’re a dead soul. Most of the church world teaches you go forward and get saved and get ready to die, so when you die your soul goes to heaven or to hell, and you’re somewhere in the grave. The truth is you are a soul He wants made whole.
It came up where more women are doing pre-emptive breast removal because breast cancer runs in the family. They’ve never heard Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law. Curses that followed the family should have been broken. Faith comes by hearing. That’s why it’s important for the word to get out now.
Back up church and get what you lost.
There’s no expectation for deliverance. There are many bitter parents because of children with birth defects. I know a man who was really angry with God over it, and others that feel angry with God and they’re being told this is a gift from God to you. That is not a gift from the Lord. The pastors never gave these people a fighting chance to contend for the faith or believe their child should be born healthy. A lot of things people are dealing with should have been broken when they came to the Lord.
The word 'save' is the Greek word sozo. It means to be made whole. It means rescue, safety, physically, morally, saving health, deliverance, well-being. Most people didn’t know that when they went forward, repented of their sins, and got born again.
