Contend for the Faith Once Delivered to the Saints

Mark 10:45 Jesus paid the price

I mentioned Demos Shakarian and how I sent out to warn him. The Lord doesn’t always send out individuals. Throughout the history of Israel he said he sent saviors and they were warned and warned and warned before judgement happened. The second time he sent me to warn Demos Shakarian was to get out of Babylon. He had been responsible for encouraging the Catholics to stay in there. He was a blessed man in a lot of ways. He saw a lot of healings and miracles. In his situation he thought it was the sovereignty of the Lord. The Lord sent me to tell him different. The terrible thing about it is he changed the word.

Throughout the scriptures it says if you change the word your name will be taken out of the Lamb’s book of life. The Lord didn’t clobber him although he had been told a number of times by other people that split from the organization. The Lord in his mercy keeps dealing with folks.

When Jeremiah told the people to repent they said we’ll do what we want to do. Human nature a lot of times hasn’t changed.

All the protestant ministers that joined the ecumenical movement, James Robinson, Ken Copeland; his wife, Jerry Savelle all have changed the word. All of them have had warning. They are still ministering and leading people astray.

Revelation 22:16 I Jesus (Yashaya) have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. Vs. 17 And the Spirit of the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. Vs. 18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God (Elohim) shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

There are seven plagues, death strokes.

Revelation 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God (Elohim)shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. Vs. 20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen (so let it be). Even so, come Lord Jesus (Yashaya). Vs. 21 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

A charismatic and the catholic brother said quit calling us the great whore. That’s what the bible says, the city that sits on seven hills. Copeland said there are thousands of pastors here and they represent ten thousand believers. Those pastors are going to join the ecumenical movement.

I wrote Billy Brim and told him he was helping to bring in the anti-christ. I handed James Robison the identity of the anti-christ at the World Conference of the Holy Spirit in New Orleans. In the evenings they were carrying Mary on their shoulders saying through Jesus through Mary; all these big time protestant pastors there.

Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

They are changing what the word says, It says come out of her. It defines her as the city that sits on seven hills. I handed Robison this on the streets at the super dome. I also warned him in Texas.

I Corinthians 10 says don’t be like those twenty four thousand that fell. Come out of her my people touch not the unclean thing. From Genesis to Revelation it states get out, stay out; I’m a jealous God. They are telling people to stay in there.

My point is Demos Shakarian didn’t get knocked in the head, he didn’t die prematurely, he lived pretty rich and the Lord kept warning him. What happened when he died I don’t know. What I do know is he had been warned by more than one person. With the Lord’s grace and long suffering he’s not going to knock us in the head for goofing up.

The seven churches in Revelation were all warned. They had some good stuff among them yet they have some bad stuff. He says I’m giving you time to repent. If you repent everything is going to be cool if not your candlestick will be removed. I was sent to a church where their candlestick was removed. The spirit of the Lord wasn’t there.

He’s not interested in destroying his children but saving his children.

Revelation 2:11 He that hath and ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death. Vs. 12 And to the angel of the church in Pergamos (the spirit of the church in Pergamos; this is a little church and a spirit here) write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges;

When it talks about the sharp sword in other places the two edged sword can discern between the thoughts and the intents of the heart. Sometimes people will do something real nice for you but they have an ulterior motive. When you do something supposedly godly but you have an ulterior motive you’re not fooling him.

Revelation 2:13 I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan’s seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth. Vs. 14 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock, before the children of Israel, to eat things sanctified unto idols, and to commit fornication.

You would think he’d be satisfied. This man in verse 13 was faithful to the Lord to the point he was a martyr. He’s dead and gone now but he’s talking to the rest of the church. 1 Corinthians 10 talks about come out from among them. The stumbling block is referring to Numbers 25

Revelation 2:15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.

Some define verse 15 as the leadership over the laity. The laity has no input in the church. That’s one common understanding of that and there’s another one that had to do with sexual worship. He says there’s a stumbling block and at this point he’s not referring to Balaam at all. This is still an example for the church at this time as it was back then.

Revelation 2:16 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.

He didn’t say he was going to bust your head or throw electric lines under your car and fry you. It says with the word of his mouth.

Revelation 2:17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the chuches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

He’s warning them so there’s an opportunity to overcome. So it goes on down the line about different churches and each time he’s giving them an opportunity to repent. This is true for individuals. He gives us opportunities to repent. Some people leave walking with the Lord and go wallow in sin for years and then return. It doesn’t say how long the prodigal son was gone out partying and spending all his money. He ended up in bad shape. He had sense enough to go back home.

So in Revelation 2, 1 Corinthians 10 there is no excuse. In fact the word says you have no excuse. His mercy is long suffering. Sometimes people have to hit bottom before they can even get up.

1 Corinthians 10:4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ (the anointed one).

The word spiritual there is the same as 1 Corinthians 10 now concerning spiritual things to determine, influence or receiving from the spirit.

I Corinthians 10:5 But with many of them God (Elohim) was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness. Vs. 6 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted. Vs. 7 Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.

That’s back in Revelation the second chapter.

1 Corinthians 10:8 Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand. Vs. 9 Neither let us tempt Christ (the anointed one), as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of the serpents. Vs. 10 Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer. Vs. 11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world (age) are come. Vs. 12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

My point here is there is always warning. There are consequences for not obeying but we don’t have to tremble every time we goof up. In fact the scripture says come boldly before the throne of grace in a time of need. So come and repent and say daddy I messed or come before him whatever the need is, healing, family member. He says come boldly. Why boldly? ; Because of his grace. If there’s true repentance it will make things right. Don’t play around with it.

People don’t want to kill their children. They just want to straighten them up.

In Mark 2:2 he preached the word unto them. Vs. 3 and they come unto him with one sick of the palsy. The thing about preach, he was speaking the word. Faith comes by hearing and you need to hear it right. So he’s sharing the word. Vs. 4 they are destroying the roof on someone’s house. When I read this I think of the grass roofs I’ve seen in two different African nations. A lot of Eastern homes have flat roofs and can go up on top of them.

One older lady asked for money to fix her roof that was thick grass. It was leaking and they sleep on grass mats. So when it rains they are in the mud. You can’t repair them it just has to be made all over again a certain way so the rain runs off. Even if it’s not made of grass they need a long overhang so the rain runs off.

In Mark 2:5 he saw their faith. According to your faith so be it unto you. He said, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee. That was his doctrine from Abraham to James and beyond; be made whole, healed, sins are forgiven. It’s a concept that is not in the heart of us believers all the time to equate the same thing.

In Mark 2:6, 7, 8 he got revelation how these religious folks were thinking. In Mark 2:9 they knew about the law that certain sacrifices took away sin. They were expecting blessings for the transgressions from one Passover to the next a year later. They would bring another lamb and that lamb would die for that man’s sin. That is grace right there.

Mark 4:35 And the same day when the evening was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side. Vs. 36 And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships. Vs. 37 And there rose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. Vs. 38 And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish? Vs. 39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there a great calm. Vs. 40 And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? How is it that ye have no faith?

Once a big storm came in and we were in an overhang cave down in the hollow with some folks down from Columbus. I rebuked the storm and rain and it stopped. They were able to get out of there. Another time I had this blue van parked at the top and a real high wind that was so strong I thought it might blow the van over. I was trying to exercise faith and not doing real well. The van didn’t get blown over and the storm stopped. Can the Lord ask us, how is it that you have no faith? He expects us to have faith.

Mark 4:41 And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?

People think the Lord makes you sick then you worship him and praise him. Are you going to praise a father for making his kid sick or killing him? No, he’d be put in prison. Our heavenly Father is not going to give us sickness.

Mark 5:22 And behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw him he fell at his feet, Vs. 23 And besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death: I pray thee, come and lay they hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live. Vs. 24 And Jesus went with him; and much people followed him, and thronged him. Vs. 25 And a certain women which had an issue of blood twelve years, Vs. 26 And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,

There are a lot of people in this shape. The doctors got their money and they are no better.

Mark 5:27 When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. Vs. 28 For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole (saved, made whole).

This is one area I go around and around with folks. No, we did not get saved in the sense we should have; we got born again. Yes, we’re saved in another sense but it’s not the understanding we should have.

Mark 5:29 And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague. Vs. 30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched me? Vs. 31 And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and says thou, Who touched me?  Vs. 32 And he looked around about to see her that had done this thing. Vs. 33 But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth. Vs. 34 And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague. Vs. 35 While he yet spake, there came from the ruler of the synagogue’s house a certain which said, Thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Master any further? Vs. 36 As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.

They told the man your daughter is dead but the Lord told the man, you just keep on believing. How’s that for instruction?

Mark 5:37 And he suffered no man to follow him, save Peter, and James, and John the brother of James. Vs. 38 And he cometh to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and seeth the tumult, and them that wept and wailed greatly.

Back then not only did you have family members when you lost a loved one cry but they also had professional mourners.

Mark 5:39 And when he was come in, he saith unto them, Why make ye this ado, and weep? The damsel is not dead, but sleepeth, Vs. 40 And they laughed him to scorn. But when he had put them all out, he taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with him, and entereth in where the damsel was lying.

He probably told them get out of the house right now. Just like he took a whip and ran them out from the temple.

Mark 5:41 And he took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talithaeumi; which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise. Vs. 42 And straightway the damsel arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment. Vs. 42 And he charged them straightly that no man should know it; and commanded that something should be given her to eat.

So Jesus told Pops, you just keep on believing. According to our faith so it be unto us. When my son was dead I just reacted. All I can say is the Lord led me. I commanded the spirit of death to come out of him and he came back to life. Sometimes we stop and think and that’s what gets us in trouble. Don’t think just do it.

Read these verses on your own and don’t just read it but look over it and ponder on it. Apply it to yourself. Someone shared with David they had faith in one area but not when they are sick. It’s easier to pray the prayer of faith for somebody else because you’re not the one hurting. But it doesn’t make a difference what you feel or see it’s what you believe.

Red Fox comedy, years ago would joke about you look bad my uncle died of that. Really it’s a trick of the devil. People say you know that runs in the family. Unfortunately we weren’t taught Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law. We joined in a new family.

Luke 5:12 And it came to pass, when he was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. Vs. 13 And he put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will: be thou clean. And immediately the leprosy departed from him.

One of the things when the Lord started me ministering which at the time I didn’t know it was going to be an ongoing thing was the doctrine of my pastor “if it’s the Lord’s will”. That killed a lot of people. Some pastors believe if someone gets healed it the Lord’s will, if they don’t then it’s the Lord’s will. Instead of acknowledging they didn’t have faith when they didn’t receive their healing they want to lay it on the Lord. And the Lord says, “I will”. So does he want us made whole, healed? The answer is yes. So according to your faith he wants to heal you.

Mark 10:45 For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

Otherwise he’s going to buy us out of a mess.

Mark 10:46 And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging. Vs. 47 And when he heard that is was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou son David, have mercy on me.

This man heard about him, couldn’t see him but he saw what other people couldn’t see. When he said thou Son of David he’s referring to the prophesy of the son of David becoming the messiah. The only other time that’s recorded with that kind of knowledge is when Peter said you’re the Rock. But here’s a blind man that could see what other people couldn’t see.

Mark 10:48 And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou son of David, have mercy on me.

Prophesy in the Old Testament was the Son of David would come and open the eyes of the blind and heal. He would deliver.

Mark 10:49 And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee. Vs. 50 And he casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus. Vs. 51 And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight.

Mark 10:52 And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.

Thy faith has saved you. Recue, safety, physically, morally and all those things. Thy faith has saved you.

Jesus has another person following him and it’s pointing back to contend for the faith, fight, struggle, as once delivered to the saints.

It takes faith to take a donkey that’s never been rode and ride it. We had a pony and you had to be skillful to ride that pony because that pony knew more than most folks. You don’t just climb up on a horse, mule or ponies back and say go.

Mark 11:11 And Jesus (Yawshua) entered into Jerusalem, and into the temple: and when he had looked round about upon all things, and now the eventide was come, he went out unto Bethany with the twelve.

Mark 11:13 Seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of the figs was not yet.

On a fig tree the blossoms are edible but it didn’t have anything. No blossoms or figs.

Mark 11:14 And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it.

The figure tree is the natural symbol of Israel. The olive tree is the spiritual symbol of Israel. Paul says we’re engrafted in to it by faith.

Mark 11:15 And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves;

The scripture says to be angry and sin not so the Lord was angry and he wasn’t sinning.

Mark 11:16 And would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple. Vs. 17 And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? But ye have made it a den of thieves.

They were ripping people off. They weren’t giving fair exchange. They were selling defective animals.

Mark 11:18 And the scribes and chief priests heard it, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, because all the people was astonished at his doctrine. Vs. 19 And when even was come, he went out of the city. Vs. 20 And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.  Vs. 21 And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away. Vs. 22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God (the Creator). Vs. 23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Bullinger and other don’t believe this. They twist in into it’s a metaphor for the rabbi’s dealing with hard sayings. That’s not what its saying. It’s saying if you speak to a mountain the same way I spoke to the tree that mountain is going to go jump in the sea.

Sometimes I’ve prayed for people and conditions and there isn’t an immediate outward sign but that condition dries up. It could be overnight or a week. You pray the prayer of faith and command it to dry up or go away. If you look right after you got prayed for you’d say it’s still there but faith would say it’s been prayed for, it’s been cursed and will dry up. It’s not what you see it’s what you believe. People say what you see is what you get. That’s not true. What you see or believe by faith is what you get.

Mark 11:25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have aught against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

He adds to believing. He connects not only healing with the prayer of faith but also forgiveness.

James 5, If you have sick among you call for the elders and let them anoint you with oil and the prayer of faith will make whole and if they commit any sins they’ll be forgiven. If you want forgiven, forgive somebody else. Don’t hold something against someone else.

Matthew 8:1 When he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him.Vs. 2 And behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. Vs. 3 And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

Here again, is this the Lord’s will to heal? He said “I will”. There is nowhere that any minister or person can justify saying it was not the Lord’s will. Jesus said he didn’t come to destroy life but to save life. The apostles wanted to call down fire on people and Jesus said, “You don’t know what spirit you’re of. I didn’t come to destroy folks. I’m all about forgiving them and healing them; make them whole”.

Matthew 8:4 Jesus saith unto him, See thou tell no man; but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.

The word testimony is used like a legal statement before the court. They didn’t go through the sacrifices they went through the thanks offering for the leprosy. He didn’t need the offering of cleansing. He needed the offering of thanks to the Lord.

Matthew 8:5 And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him, Vs. 6 And saying, Lord my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented. Vs. 7 And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.

As I read this it comes to my mind we live so far beneath what we’re supposed to live in; our privileges and authority as believers.

Matthew 8:8 The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed (made whole, saved sins forgiven).

Matthew 8:9 For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. Vs. 10 When Jesus heard it, he marveled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

This centurion is an Italian, a pagan who believes. Jesus says wow this guy understands authority. We need to understand authority. He believed Jesus didn’t need to be there, or travel all that distance; just say the word and it will be done. Give an order and expect it to be carried out.

Sharon bought a new house and the realtor made a comment about two other people having a stroke before closing. That was just a work of the devil. What needed to be done is to tell that realtor I rebuke you in the name of Jesus. Tell them you’re not putting that on me. That’s how you need to react because that little seed is planted. It should be greater is he that is within you then he that is in the world. There is no weapon formed against me that shall prosper. Whom the Lord has blessed can’t be cursed. The devil was just using the man to plant that seed; wow two people had a stroke?

One time a man on the street asked me for money. I pray about what to do because a lot of people are on drugs. I told this man no and he said I’m going to put a curse on you. I said you can’t put a curse on me. I rebuke you in the name of Jesus. You’re just a little devil.  He scooted across Long Street like a crab. He stammered and said I should have never said that. You need to stand up in the Lord and speak right back up to it. Balaam tried to put a curse on Israel and he couldn’t and ended up prophesying, who the Lord has blessed can’t be cursed.
